Terms & Conditions
1. General
These Terms & Conditions apply to all skin consultations and treatment services provided by Space NK, including facials, chemical peels, LED treatments and microneedling.
By booking or receiving a treatment, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
2. Consultation & Suitability
All treatments are subject to consultation and suitability assessment.
Space NK reserves the right to refuse, modify, postpone or discontinue treatment if it is considered unsuitable, unsafe or not in the client's best interests.
The decision of the treating practitioner is final.
3. Health Information
Clients must disclose all relevant medical information, medications, allergies, skin conditions and previous aesthetic treatments before treatment.
Failure to provide accurate information may affect treatment suitability, safety and outcomes.
Space NK shall not be responsible for any adverse outcome resulting from information that has been omitted or inaccurately disclosed.
4. Consent
Advanced treatments, including peels and microneedling, require informed consent and completion of a medical questionnaire before treatment.
Treatment will not proceed without the required consent documentation.
5. Patch Testing
Where a patch test is required by the manufacturer, treatment protocol or practitioner, treatment will not be performed until the patch test has been completed and assessed.
Failure to attend a required patch test may result in rescheduling or cancellation of treatment.
6. Treatment Results
Results vary between individuals and depend on factors including skin condition, medical history, lifestyle, treatment frequency and compliance with aftercare instructions.
No guarantee, warranty or promise is made regarding treatment outcomes.
Individual results cannot be guaranteed.
7. Risks and Side Effects
All cosmetic skin treatments carry inherent risks.
Common side effects may include:
Redness
Swelling
Tenderness
Dryness
Flaking or peeling
Sensitivity
Temporary bruising
Less common risks may include:
Infection
Allergic reaction
Pigmentation changes
Scarring
Specific risks will be explained during consultation and documented within the treatment consent form.
8. Pre-Treatment Requirements
Clients must follow all pre-treatment instructions provided by their practitioner.
Failure to comply with pre-treatment instructions may result in treatment being postponed or cancelled and cancellation charges may apply.
9. Aftercare
Clients are responsible for following all aftercare advice provided.
Failure to follow aftercare instructions may affect treatment outcomes and increase the risk of complications.
Clients should contact Space NK promptly if they experience unexpected or concerning symptoms following treatment.
10. Photographs
Clinical photographs may be taken for consultation, treatment planning, treatment records and monitoring progress.
Clinical photographs form part of the client's treatment record.
Photographs will not be used for marketing, advertising or social media purposes without separate explicit consent.
11. Appointment Bookings
Appointments are subject to availability.
Space NK reserves the right to amend appointment times, practitioner allocation or treatment location where reasonably necessary.
12. Cancellation Policy
Appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled without charge with at least 48 hours' notice.
Appointments cancelled or rescheduled with less than 48 hours' notice may be charged up to 100% of the treatment value.
13. Failure to Attend
Clients who fail to attend an appointment without notice may be charged the full value of the appointment.
Repeated non-attendance may result in future booking restrictions.
14. Late Arrivals
Clients arriving late may have their treatment shortened or rescheduled.
Where treatment cannot proceed due to late arrival, the full appointment fee may still apply.
15. Pricing and Payment
Treatment prices are those advertised at the time of booking.
Space NK reserves the right to amend pricing at any time without prior notice.
Price changes will not affect confirmed bookings.
16. Refunds
Consultation fees are non-refundable once the consultation has taken place.
Treatment fees are non-refundable once the treatment has been performed.
Refunds will not be provided solely because the desired aesthetic outcome has not been achieved.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects a client's statutory rights.
17. Client Conduct
Space NK reserves the right to refuse treatment where a client:
Appears under the influence of alcohol or drugs
Exhibits abusive, threatening or inappropriate behaviour
Fails to follow practitioner instructions
Presents with a condition that makes treatment unsuitable
Cancellation charges may apply.
18. Personal Data
Personal data and health information will be processed in accordance with applicable data protection legislation and the Space NK Privacy Policy.
19. Complaints
Any concerns regarding treatment should be raised with Space NK as soon as reasonably practicable to allow prompt investigation and resolution.
20. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
